Q: Is everyone accepted?

A: No. We will be completely honest with you at the time of your tryout. Generally, we are looking for mobility, agility, and along with good athletic ability.

Q: What is the price for this training?

A: Tuition is $1,800.00 for wrestlers/referees and $1,500 for valets/managers. The amount paid covers all of your tuition. Other things, such as wrestling attire, living expenses are the responsibility of the student.

Q: Is my training restricted to a specific time period (i.e. 6 months, etc.)?

A: Unlike some other schools, there is no limit to the amount of time you need and/or use to train.

Q: Are payment plans available?

A: Yes. Bodyslam University does offer payment plans to those that qualify. Call the school at 865-388-0099 to obtain specific info for your situation.
 

Q: Are there minimum height and weight requirements?

A: A: No. Wrestlers such as Rey Mysterio and Spike Dudley all weigh less than 180 lbs. Of course, the bigger you are the better.
 

Q: What are the age limits?

A: The minimum age to enroll is 18, unless you have written consent from your parents.

Q: Is insurance provided?

A: No

Q: Does Bodyslam University assist with relocation or job employment?

A: Yes. The EWF will assist you in finding local housing and employment (through local newspapers, apartment finder flyers, maps, etc.).

Q: When do classes start?

A: Classes run continuously. You can start whenever you like. Training time is unlimited, so you can use as much time as you need.

Q: What type of shape do I need to be in when I come to the Bodyslam University?

A: That depends on you and your specific situation. Generally, wind sprints, push ups, pull ups and squats are the exercises that will get you into shape.

Q: Does the Bodyslam University assist with providing gimmicks for the individual wrestler?

A: Yes. If you have a solid gimmick when you come, that is OK. Otherwise, the staff will work with you to develop a gimmick that will meet your personality.

Q: How long does it take before wrestling before a live crowd?

A: About 4 months for wrestlers/referees and 6 weeks for valets/managers. And, however, much continued training is necessary for you to develop all needed skills.
