The show featured a
"Best Of Five" match series between Team Zorin and Team EWF. The
winning team will gain control of the other's contracts for 30 days. Team Zorin came out and
talked about how they would be victorious tonight. Also, Zorin gave his half of
the Tag Team Title to "The Untouchable" Steve Amani. * Match 1 - Fallen
Dragon (ZT) beat Hank Calhoun (EWF) * Gameboy beat Wildman
Rogers Inter-gender champion
Sybil Star was the guest referee for this match. * Match 2/Midwestern
Title - Frank Stein (TZ) beat Rastakhan (EWF, c) by DQ Stein was going to hit
Rasta with a chair, but Rasta caught him before he could strike and grabbed the
belt. Stein then slapped the belt and dropped to the mat, playing possum.
The referee called for the bell disqualifying Rastakhan thinking he used the
belt. * "Enormous" Evan Alexander beat Snake Before intermission, a
ten-bell salute was conducted in the memory of independent wrestler
"Sweet" Stevie Lee. Also, there was a bell salute in the memory
of Mike Davis, a fan who passed away last year. Hurricane presented
his family with a plaque and dedicated his seat at the arena in his honor. * New Era Title:
Hypnosis beat Jay West (c), The SiKness, Johnny & Donnie Tsunami in a 5 man
scramble to win the title. Hypnosis pinned The
SiKness to capture the New Era Title. Afterwards, Jay West was livid and
attacked the SiKness. He told him their rivalry is far from over. * Match 3 - Osyris (EWF)
beat JT Zorin (TZ) The match consisted of
only one move, a chokeslam by Big O * Match 4 - Bob (EWF)
beat Steve Amani (TZ) * Match 5 / EWF Title:
Anarchy (EWF, c) beat Chip Daley (TZ) Anarchy retained his
title and won the tiebreaker to give Team EWF the victory in the "Best Of
Five". The rest of Team EWF made their way to ringside to celebrate.
Then JT Zorin says that they shouldn't be celebrating like they won something,
because Team Zorin won the series 3-2. He said before the show, he signed
someone to a contract. Then OSYRIS removes his EWF shirt to reveal a Team Zorin
shirt. Osyris then destroys everyone from EWF in his path including the
EWF Champion Anarchy. Zorin then kicks Hurricane out of the announcer booth saying that his services are no longer required there. Zorin says Anarchy, Rastakhan, and Hypnosis can kiss their titles goodbye sometime over the next 30 days. The EWF will return to action on November 5, 2005. |
