Pheonix announced that he has retired from professional wrestling and announced that he will be leaving next week for basic training as he joined the military. Johnny Mac came to ringside and told Pheonix good riddance and said that no one in the EWF would miss him... Pheonix then told the fans that he had changed his mind and that he would lace the boots one last time tonight for a match with Johnny Mac.

Midget P.O.D. decided at the end of the match he would rather be on Hurricane's good side and hit Vulgar with a chair. Hurricane then followed with a swing of the chair as well, and then splashed Vulgar in the thumbtacks for the pin.
