Hello
wrestling fans and welcome back to another edition of "The Insider
Report". This week The Insider will bring you a total recap of the exciting
March 22nd show. So without further wait, lets check out the action. Another
week of my EWF diet continues. Mt Dew; hot, buttery popcorn and a Snickers bar
are sure to get me swole as a.... well you know. The crowd this week had some
new faces, which is always good to see. The crowd needs to get louder though.
Come on people, yell at someone! Yell at all the guys you hate like they are
your boss at work or something! Get loud, be proud and have some fun. Some
new faces in the EWF this week made for some good matches. Our first match of
the evening saw two newcomers. Ian Manley, who looks to be a pretty decent
wrestler, was making his first appearance against newcomer David Cropht. Cropht
and Ian started this match kinda slow and the crowd wasn't into it at first but
after a few short minutes, the crowd came to life. This match was pretty basic
move wise, but everything was nice and crisp. Ian Manley picked up the win via
pinfall. I'm looking forward to seeing both of these guys back in the EWF ring
in the future. * Ian Manley beat David Cropht Our
next match of the evening was a good one. "The Human Highlight Reel"
Joey Moore, who is also a new comer to EWF faced another newcomer, Adrian Scott.
This match had the crowd a little bit hotter than the first match and the action
was a bit more intense between the two men. It was a pretty fast paced match for
the most part and the changed control several times. A good second match of the
evening and started to really bring the crowd to life. Joey Moore has a bright
future in front of him and scored the upset win in this match via pinfall. Keep
an eye on these two as they both could make some impact in the EWF. * Joey Moore beat Adrian Scott Our
next match of the evening pitted two of the most hated guys in the EWF, Tsunami
and Donnie Dynasty against two of the more loved guys, Ruin and Big Nasty.
Tsunami was announced as being "The Blackeneise Kicking Machine" and
Donnie Dynasty... well, he's just Donnie and hated by everyone anyhow! This
match had the crowd going real good throughout the match. Tsunami's stiff kicks
leaves you wondering how many bones he just broke on his opponent and a few of
those kicks landed right in Ruin's mouth. I hope Ruin has a good dental plan
because he'll need it after this match. At one point Dynasty and Big Nasty were
in the ring together and that was quite the mismatch. Big Nasty is about a foot
and a half taller than Dynasty and that’s an understatement. Total squash fest
there. Dynasty tasted the big boot from Nasty and that sealed the win for Ruin
and Big Nasty. The 1-2-3 from Referee Jason Harding was all she wrote for the
team of Tsunami and Donnie Dynasty. * Big Nasty & Ruin beat Tsunami & Donnie Dynasty Our
next match of the evening saw one of the longest entrances ever in the EWF as
Apollo Star took a good 5 minutes to have all his information announced. He's
from Buffalo, New York. He's the Nubian prince. He's a super pimp. He's swole as
a mother.... hey now! He's “Poison” Apollo Star! If you didn't hate this guy
before, now is a good time to start! He's a cocky one too and deemed it
necessary to let us all know it too. Things were about to get good though. His
opponent would be none other than the one the only King. King
toyed with ref Jason Harding prior to the match and made for more than a few
good laughs. This only further angered Apollo and the match was finally on.
Apollo is one of the best mat workers in the EWF and showed just why he is worth
of it. Apollo takes King to the mat and starts to work various ground and pound
moves to wear King down. That’s exactly how you need to wrestle King as you
cant let him out of your sight for 1 second or the match could be over. King got
that 1 second after blocking a spin kick from Apollo and it was now time for
King to cease control. King took to the air and wowed the crowd with one flying
move after another and quickly wore Apollo down. King was able to get a quick
roll up and the 1-2-3 pinfall before Apollo could do anything. King made a quick
exit from the ring and left Apollo wondering what happened. Apollo took his
anger out on the fans again this week and got in the face of a few not-so-lucky
members of the crowd. * King beat Apollo Star Time
for a short intermission, which allowed me time to stock back up on tasty items
from the snack bar and after showing just why I am the king of pinball to a few
5 year olds, it was time to get back to my seat. Quickly after that, EWF owner
Hurricane, was called upon by the announcer to play security and toss out
Confederate Kid who somehow had found a seat in the crowd. As you can remember
wrestling fans, Kid claimed he was leaving the EWF last week and returning to
the trailer park with cousin Daisy Calhoun. Perhaps something made him make a
return this week. More on this later! On a side note, did anyone else notice the
hot blonde in the 3rd row? Ok
wrestling fans; time to get back to the action. EWF Tag Title would be on the
line as the champions, Big Cheez and Real Deal Christopher Steele would face the
team of Steven Sommers and Damon Starr, otherwise known as "Simply
Delicious", hailing from the rainbow painted streets of San Francisco. Real
Deal took command of the match right away, Steele is a suplex master and after 3
brutal suplexes, Damon Starr had to be wondering what he was the master of
himself! Real Deal went for the pin, but Steven Sommers quickly broke that up.
Did anyone besides me notice that Damon Starr didn't seem to mind being pinned? Regardless,
this allowed Steele to make the tag to Big Cheez and all four men where in the
ring. More action than you could keep an eye on! Big Cheez gave Steven Sommers a
stunner and went to help Steele work on Damon Starr. After getting things
squared away, the ref finally had the legal men in the ring. Big Cheez kept the
action nonstop and Damon Starr was taking the beating like a man...errr, bad
choice of words. Damon Starr did make a tag to Steven Sommers, but as the ref
was watching that tag, Big Cheez made a tag to Christopher Steele. The ref
ordered Steele back out of the ring since he didn't see the tag, and this
allowed a little double team from Starr and Sommers to beat down Big Cheez. Steven
Sommers continued to wear down the already beat down Big Cheez and decided it
was time to pay some "friendly" attention to his tag team partner
Damon Starr. This allowed Big Cheez to make the tag and pick Steven Sommers up
for the elevated clothesline from Christopher Steele. Big Cheez kept Damon Starr
from interfering and that’s all she wrote. 1-2-3 and still EWF Tag Team
Champions, Big Cheez and Real Deal Christopher Steele! The
Tag champs have been on a roll lately and everyone wants a shot at the gold.
That includes Big Nasty and Ruin. After a little verbal argument, the stage was
set for a match up next week, but it would be something special. A tables match!
That’s right wrestling fans, a Tag Team Tables match for the EWF Tag Team
Titles. Splinters and blood should be flying! * Tag Titles: Big Cheez & Real Deal (c) beat Damon Starr & Steven Sommers Just
as things began to clear, another angry man who felt he has been held back as of
late wanted to speak his mind. Hank Calhoun demanded a match with EWF
Heavyweight Champion and with approval from EWF Owner Hurricane the match was
set. Now these are two big boys with similar fighting styles. Jack Hammer and
Hank Calhoun can dish it out and hang with the best brawlers in the business and
this match started as a bar room brawl. Punch after punch, each men exchanged
blows battling back and forth. Hank looked to have the match in control as Jack Hammer fell victim to a brutal backbreaker. As Hank looked to grab the win, none other that Pheonix made his way to the ring and upset things a little bit. After a fury of violence from Pheonix, Jack Hammer made the cover on the beat down Hank Calhoun. Hammer got the 1-2-3 to retain his EWF Heavyweight Title but as he exited the ring, EWF Owner, Hurricane intervened and said that if Pheonix was so set on getting some gold around his waist, and since he couldn't beat Jack Hammer in 2 previous matches, perhaps he would enjoy a match with the BMF Champion, Anarchy! * EWF Title: Jack Hammer (c) beat Hank Calhoun by DQ when Pheonix interfered Pheonix
was surprised to find out that this match would be an Anarchy Rules match in
which almost anything goes. This made Pheonix angrier than anything as this type
of match was made famous by the man himself Anarchy. Anarchy
made his way to the ring and the crowd was the loudest of the night. The BMF
title on the line between these former best friend and now bitter enemies would
make for the best match of the evening. It started strong and went nonstop until
Anarchy brought in a chair to make things interesting. Pheonix was dropped back
first onto the steel chair and that surely slowed him down. Anarchy continued
the offense with a run and jump off the steel chair and connected with a brutal
kick to the jaw of Pheonix. After
a rack to the eyes and a low blow by Pheonix, Anarchy was barely on his feet.
This allowed Pheonix to get him into a truly brutal submission move that had
Anarchy gasping for air. The crowd started to get behind Anarchy and helped him
get out of the move. Both men made their way back to their feet and Anarchy
connected with a spin kick to the head of Pheonix. Anarchy made the quick pin
and retained the BMF Title but Pheonix wasn't done yet. He complained he was
screwed over and never agreed to this match. This prompted EWF Owner, Hurricane
to come out and set a match for next week. Next
week, in an Anarchy Rules match, Jack Hammer puts his EWF Heavyweight Title on
the line against the Flying Phenom, Pheonix and the Silence behind the Violence,
Anarchy! Triple Threat match with no hold barred. Anything goes, and with these
three men, you can be sure it goes to the Extreme. * BMF Title: Anarchy (c) beat Pheonix Remember
wrestling fans, March 29th is a totally FREE show from the EWF and will surely
be a great one with a few matches already announced. I'll be there as usual, so
stop on by and check out the action live and in your face. Besides, what else in
life is free and what else are you going to do on a Saturday night? | |
