Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another edition of "The Insider Report". The Insider is sorry for being a little late this week, but I have been investigating some very interesting things in the EWF this week, in which you can read more about in the rumor column. So without further wait, lets check out the action.

I showed up late to the arena and my cozy front row seat I always like to get was taken, so I actually got a different view of the action this week. Having to sit farther away from the action than normal I could get a different perspective as well.  Which was rather interesting. I also, I changed up my "EWF Diet" from buttery popcorn and Mt. Dew; to even more buttery popcorn, 3 Snickers bars and some of the new Gatorade (good choice snack bar girls). Dinner was great to say the least!

Our first match of the night pitted Nigerian Nightmare against Din. T Moore. These two guys match up very, very well together. Both men are about the same size and roughly the same kind of style. This was a great match with both men starting the match inside the ring exchanging power moves back and forth. Nightmare seemed to control the match inside the ring, but Din T. Moore tosses Nightmare to the outside and that allowed him to get the upper hand. Din T. Moore is at home on the outside of the ring and took advantage of Nightmare and weakened him down a great deal just before Referee Jeff Landis gave the 10 count. Both men back in the ring and Nigerian Nightmare were just too worn down and Din T. Moore was able to get the pinfall. Mark my words fans, Nightmare may have lost here, but he's one to watch in the near future! SIDE NOTE: Din T Moore is one of my favorites in EWF and this match with Nigerian Nightmare was a great way to open the show.

Our next match of the night paired two former tag team partners turned bitter enemies. J Real who called out his former partner Halo, before the match looked to be ready and in good shape for this match. Halo came out to a nice reaction from the crowd and didn't let us down. Halo's highflying moves are pretty awesome to watch and J Real was coming back with some great moves of his own. At one point in the match, Halo delivered a flying body press to J Real who was outside the ring! That got everyone on their feet and cheering. J Real tried to battle back but every move he tried for was reversed by Halo and the defense was just too much for J Real. Halo got the win via pinfall in nice fashion. I loved this match and am looking forward to seeing both these guys back in the ring very soon.

Our next match of the evening would be between "Latino Sensation" El Vato and "The Rebel Redneck" Hank Calhoun. Hank came to ringside this week with ONLY Daisy Calhoun and was not aided by Confederate Kid this week. More on that later! El Vato is a great crowd favorite and likely the funniest guy to watch in EWF. His matches are like watching a great action-comedy movie. Vato had to resort to using his quickness and mat skills to work on Hank in this match because Hank had a clear size advantage in this one. Hank had control of the match early on and tried wearing down Vato with some nice moves and working mainly on the legs and back of Vato. Hank was playing it smart by trying to take away the legs of Vato and reduce the speed of him. It seemed to work as Vato had to try to use more of his mat skills to gain an upper hand. Vato finally grabbed the match by the horns and had Hank right where he wanted him and sealed the victory with a nice roll up pin. Referee Jeff Landis called this one right down the middle and gave the win to Vato. Hank looked to be pretty hot after the match and stormed off to the locker room. In the back, Hank was rumored to have got in the face of EWF owner Hurricane telling him he demanded a match worthy of his caliber next week...or else!

Our next match of the evening would be a great technical battle between Drago and Ryan Paradise. Ryan looked to be focused for this match and Drago looked to be just as intense. For being two decently sized guys, this match started quite quickly. Both men started with some fast paced ground moves and exchanged holds in classic wrestling fashion. It's great to see guys still preserving the spirit from which this sport has evolved. Ryan had the speed advantage here, but Drago had the size and strength. Drago used some great moves to wear down Ryan and keep him on the mat. Paradise finally got to his feet and hit a great hurricanrana from the corner turnbuckle. This move was hit in textbook perfect fashion as well. Hats off to the cocky one for it. Drago was down to the mat and Ryan went to the other corner looking to take the attack to higher limits. After a missed dropkick from the turnbuckle, Drago whipped Paradise into the ropes and looked to be gaining control again. Ryan was keen to the idea and took the Tilt-A-Whirl, but delivered a great DDT to Drago. Thats the first time I've seen that move done live in person! It was pretty sweet! Ryan seemed to have the match locked but deemed it time to showboat and that allowed Drago to take advantage and get the quick 1-2-3 pinfall on Paradise. Drago left ringside quickly and Ryan looked to be extremely angered and in shock of the loss. Paradise let everyone in the house know just how mad he was by verbally insulting quite a few fans using language till this point not heard in the EWF Arena as he exited the ringside area. This not only made the crowd pretty angry, but left them shocked as well.

At this point in the show we needed a break to cool off! It was time for intermission. Time to stock up on drinks and more popcorn! After getting back to my seat I was pleasantly surprised to find a very funny verbal battle between our announcer "Sonny Styles" and some kid in the crowd who was quite the loudmouth himself. After a quick insult of wet diapers and being Michael Jackson's "best friend", the kid was pretty quiet. The crowd seemed to enjoy the battle of wits.

On to our next match of the evening, a special grudge match between "Rent-A-Cop" A.C. Parker and EWF Owner, Hurricane. Can someone say squash fest? Hurricane caught A.C. of guard from the start coming out of the front of the arena wielding a kendo stick. A.C. didn't stand a chance! It was like watching the Colts beat on some Pee Wee, Flag football team! Great fun to watch A.C. get his mouth shut up after the many weeks of having to hear his sob stories. Big thanks to Hurricane for standing up for the fans! After a few devastating powerhouse moves it looked fatal for the rent-a-cop, A.C. must have known he would not have a chance in this match up, I’m thinking he must have talked with Hank Calhoun before the match to watch his back. Hank made a run in and had an impromptu match with Hurricane. Hank nailed Hurricane square in the face with a chair (I think legit knocking the big guy out cold) and demanded the referee count a pinfall.... then exclaiming "How's that for deserving a title match"

Is this the beginning of a formation between Hank Calhoun and A.C. Parker or merely a way for Hank to get his point across to Hurricane?

It is now time for the EWF Heavyweight Title match. Jack Hammer, the champion, would face and unknown mystery opponent. Come to find out, his mystery opponent would be none other than Pheonix! Pheonix blabbed about how he got screwed over last week and a mouthful of other excuses. Spare me! Jack Hammer wasn't having any of it and put a nice big boot in the mouth of Pheonix. How's the rubber and leather taste Pheonix? Hammer went right to the brawling and looked to be weakening the smaller Pheonix down quickly. Don't cut Pheonix short though, he took every punch and kick like a champ. Pheonix finally used his speed to his advantage and took to the air to wear down the champ. With a quick aerial assault, Jack Hammer looked to be getting a little tired. Pheonix then went to work on the legs of the champ, looking to make the big man totally immobile. The attack was pretty effective as Jack Hammer looked to be favoring his leg midway thru the match. Pheonix was getting a little too cocky too quick and that allowed Hammer to recover and keep the battle going. Hammer battled back until Pheonix broke out the "Brass Knucks", somehow Hammer got a hold of them and used them against the "Flying Phenom" allowing Hammer to get the pinfall and retain the belt. Pheonix was pretty mad after the match since he had lost not once, but twice to Jack Hammer for the EWF Heavyweight title. Pheonix openly challenged Hammer once again to title match, as he demanded that the fans respect him.

Now on to our Main Event of the evening, for the EWF Tag Team belts. Big Cheez and “Real Deal” Christopher Steele, the champions, where to face the challenge from Big Nasty and Ruin. Real Deal spoke on the mic and called out their opponents and got things nice and hot before the match. No love lost between these guys! A good old fashion brawl! non-stop action from the ring of the bell made for a pretty good match. Big Nasty is one of the bigger guys in the EWF and his in ring battle with Big Cheez was fun to watch. Real Deal and Ruin are both veterans of the ring and also showcased a great deal of skill between the two. The battle was in and out of the ring and had quite a few 2 on 1 situations. Referee Jeff Landis had his hands full with this one and at times it was just too much. Big Cheez and Real Deal sealed the win with their trademark move (Does it have a name yet? The Cheez slicer?) and that was it for Ruin. 1-2-3 and still EWF Tag Team Champions, Big Cheez and Real Deal Christopher Steele. That wasn't the end of it though wrestling fans. Ruin and Big Nasty weren't happy with the loss and demanded a rematch next week. The champs said they couldn't cut it here tonight so why should they deserve another shot at the straps? Things got personal as Ruin and Real Deal exchanged verbal warfare and trashed each other on the mic. After the dust cleared, the stage was set. Next week, Ruin and Big Nasty get their rematch! This should be a pretty hot match wrestling fans!
