Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another issue of the Insider Report with me, The Insider. This week we'll recap the March 1st show. The Insider is your #1 hook up for the nitty-gritty dirt in the EWF! So lets get straight to the results from the March 1st show.

First off I'd like to thank miss Mother Nature for being kind enough to not drop 10 inches of snow on us this week like she has done for the past couple weeks. This allowed the EWF arena to be pretty well packed again this week with crazy and wild fans ready to see some hot action. This week’s show was a great show that i hope nobody missed.

Prior to the start of the show, some of the wrestlers were at ringside and giving out autographs and greeting the fans. A.J. Styles signed quite a few t-shirts and such, and I got the back of my EWF T-shirt covered with autographs from A.J. Styles, Big Cheez, Pheonix, Jack Hammer and even referee Jeff Landis. All the guys seemed really cool to everyone and a big thanks to all of them for being so nice and caring for us, the fans.

The EWF Television crew was again back "in house" again this week taping for their TV show and this week was a great one. The show got started right at 7pm and started with a big Royal Rumble style Battle Royal with the winner getting a shot at the EWF BMF Champion, Anarchy later in the evening. Each man came out about 1 minute apart from each other and this match was loaded with drama.

First man out was Hank Calhoun, the Rebel Redneck and he'd face the deranged man minus his rubber chicken this week, Snake! Typical brawling between these two as you'd expect, and the battle got even hotter as "Rent-A-Cop" A.C. Parker came out as the next man. A.C. still has beef with Snake and it showed as the two battled while Hank Calhoun stood by letting these two wear each other down. Smart move from the redneck, as Hank Calhoun ended up eliminating both Snake and A.C. Parker. A.C. took a hard fall right to the concrete and it took the "Rent-A-Cop" a few moments to get to his feet and return to the locker-room.

A big surprise was the next entrant, Confederate Kid. He came out to some gangsta style music, which was very funny since he's supposed to be a Rebel Redneck and all that. He didn't see a problem getting into the ring with his cousin, Hank Calhoun though and facing off. Is there some beef between these two since Confederate Kid and Daisy Calhoun had their little mouth-to-mouth incident a few weeks back? It was hard to tell but just as i started to think this, Real Deal Christopher Steele came out and really shook things up. Kid took a beating from Steele and Hank didn't seem to mind that his partner was getting the beat down. Every man for himself I guess!

Julian The Warlock came out next, and helped clear the ring of Confederate Kid. Bye bye! Julian and Steele battled for a little bit, then out comes one cocky dude by the name of G.Q. Is it just me, or does this guy look like The Rock? Regardless, he sucks just as bad! I hate this guy! He spent most of his time yelling at us in the crowd, until Julian decided to put a big boot in his mouth to shut him up and send GQ over the top rope and be eliminated. Thanks Julian!

9-Mil came out next bringing his mean street fighting style to the ring and really got things going. A nice 4 way battle between Steele, Julian, Hank and 9-Mil. Steele and Hank looked to be the two big power guys, while 9-mil used a nice strike and run technique. Julian looked to be the smart one here and pick and choose his moves and try to save his energy. 9-mil was tossed to the outside by Steele and that brought out our next entry, Big Cheez!!!!

The crowd loves Big Cheez, as do I, and it showed as Cheez got the best ovation so far. Cheez and his tag team partner later in the evening, Christopher Steele, went to work on Hank Calhoun and finally sent Hank to the floor. Bye bye Hank Calhoun! See, the south never wins! Just as Hank was making his way to the back, out comes our next entry, Zero from the Void Effect tag team. This guy cracks me up! His loud mouth and shiny baldhead are something to be seen and truly laughed at. His in ring work more than made up for it though. Zero is a proven wrestler and showed it with his hard hitting punches and kicks. Still left in the ring were Big Cheez, Christopher Steele, Julian the Warlock and Zero.

These four guys are some of the best in the EWF and it showed. You couldn't even blink for fear of missing some of the action. Then out comes Johnny Mac. This guy also cracks me up. He whines and cries like a 2-year-old baby! Then he has the nerve to yell at everyone in the crowd for yelling at him and calling him a crybaby! I will give him credit though, as his entrance into the ring allowed Big Cheez and Christopher Steele to eliminate Zero.

Johnny Mac went right after Steele and with a little help from Julian, Steele was eliminated. Then Johnny Mac and Julian seemed to team up on Big Cheez just as our next entry came out to the ring. Stryc-9, who happens to be one of my favorites, came out and helped keep Big Cheez in the ring, while getting rid of that punk Johnny Mac! Of course Mac whined and cried his way back to the locker room like he always does. Now left in the ring was Julian the Warlock, Big Cheez and Stryc-9. I love all three of these guys!

The out comes the shame of Italy, Kid Italy. He should have eaten more spaghetti and meatballs, as he lasted only about 3 seconds in the ring and was easily eliminated by Big Cheez. Cheez turned around and also eliminated Stryc-9 as well about 2 seconds later. Big Cheez cleaning house baby! Rudo Cortez came out next and spiced things up with a little south of the boarder action, Mexicano style. Maybe he needed another burrito as well, as Julian eliminated him in a short time. Then out comes the other half of Void Effect, Vishion. He's just as big of a loud mouth as his partner! But he can back it up as he was the man to eliminate Big Cheez.

Seconds later, the last entry, Hellraiser who's been out of the ring for a few weeks came back to a HUGE ovation from the crowd and really kicked up the pace. Hellraiser, Vishion and Julian were the last three men left that was until Hellraiser sent Vishion flying to the outside and on his way to the locker-room. Down to two men, Julian the Warlock who's been in the ring for quite some time, and the fresh man, Hellraiser. These two guys paired up quite well, and battled back and forth for a few minutes. Both men exchanging stiff punches, and Julian nailed Hellraiser with a brutal kick to the face that I'm sure is gonna leave a mark. Hellraiser was eliminated by Julian the Warlock shortly after and was declared the winner and the #1 contender for the BMF title.

Hellraiser got back in the ring to offer a handshake of respect to Julian, but Julian wasn't having any of that and smacked the hand of Hellraiser and that lead to them getting in each others face. I truly thought we were going to have another fight break out between these two guys, but referee Jeff Landis jumped in between the two men and Hellraiser proved he was the bigger man by walking away. You have to give the guy respect for that.

* Battle Royal to determine #1 Contender for BMF Title

Participants:  Hank Calhoun, Snake, AC Parker, Confederate Kid, Real Deal, Julian the Warlock, GQ, 9 mil, Big Cheez, Zero, Johnny Mac, Stryc-9, Kid Italy, Rudo Cortez, Vishion, and Hellraiser.

Winner:  Julian the Warlock

Our next match of the evening got started quickly afterwards, and it pitted Rudo Cortez against Johnny Mac. This was a great technical match up and showcased some great mat work by both men. Hats off to both guys, even though i cant stand Johnny Mac; for having the raw talent to battle back and forth like they did. Some people might take this match for granted as being boring, but if you enjoy the truely technical style of wrestling, you loved this match. Johnny Mac got the roll up pin, and the 1-2-3 win. I'm looking forward to seeing both of these guys in action again as they can put on some great matches.

At this time in the show, we went to intermission, which gave me more than enough time to get another Mt. Dew a box of Milk-Duds and some more popcorn. Hats off to the ladies again this week for that hot, buttery popcorn that is becoming a bigger part of my "diet" each and every week. A.J. Styles was at ringside doing autographs and greeting the many fans that came out to see the NWA TNA superstar. He's a true class act fans. If you weren't at the show, you needed to be. A.J. was one of the nicest wrestlers I've ever had the opportunity to meet.

* Johnny Mac beat Rudo Cortez

Our next match of the evening was that cocky look-a-like, GQ with his "million dollar" boots come out to a sea of boo's from the crowd. I was booing too since this guy just gets under my skin and annoys me. Then out comes on of my favorites, Stryc-9. Stryc-9's a decent sized guy but can still move like guys 50lbs lighter and he and GQ had a great match showcasing the abilities of both men. GQ is a good technical wrestler and has a great ability to get out of a lot of moves that Stryc-9 went for. Stryc-9 was the top dog in this match though and got the win via pinfall.

* Stryc 9 beat GQ

After the intermission, our next match would be for the EWF BMF Title. Julian the Warlock, who won the Battle Royal earlier in the night to become #1 contender, was introduced first followed by the current EWF BMF Champion, Anarchy! Anarchy continues to amaze me with his awesome array of skills as he did in this great match with Julian. Julian has the size advantage over Anarchy, but the speed advantage goes to Anarchy here. This was another great match that had you on the edge of your seat. With several near falls, and the tide going back and forth the whole match you were forced to watch these two guys with eager eyes. Anarchy sealed the win via pinfall over the seemingly mad Julian. Your winner and still EWF BMF champion, Anarchy!

* BMF Title:  Anarchy (c) beat Julian The Warlock

Our next match of the evening was a weird one. A 3-way tag team dance with elimination style rules. It pitted Hank Calhoun and Confederate kid, with Daisy Calhoun at ringside, against the team of Void Effect (Zero & Vishion), against Real Deal Christopher Steele and Big Cheez. Referee Jeff Landis was going to have his hands full here with a total of 6 men, and that redneck cousin Daisy outside the ring to deal with. This match was loaded with fun and some truly unique moves.

Hank and Kid seemed to be off their game tonight, maybe because of their little run in with each other in the battle royal. Regardless, Daisy Calhoun tried to interfere in the match by showing "the goods" but it must not have been impressive enough as Hank and Kid were the first team eliminated.

Void Effect is a great tag team and they work very well together. Zero and Vishion hit a double Russian leg sweep that would make any tag team drool over. I think everyone in the house was saying "Holy crap!" after that one. Dont rule out Big Cheez and Real Deal just yet though. These two powerhouses have been around and know how to win, as both men have been EWF champions before. The finish to this match is something words cannot express enough. I'll try to explain it, but you'd have to be there to see it fans. It was truly awesome.

Void Effect went for a double clothesline, but Big Cheez pulled Zero out of the ring, while Real Deal picked up Vishion and looked to be going for a spinebuster, but Cheez came back in the ring and nailed Vishion off the top rope with a brutal clothesline and Steele made the cover. Referee Jeff Landis made the count, 1-2-3 and the NEW EWF Tag Team Champions, Big Cheez and Real Deal Christopher Steele.

* Tag Titles:  Big Cheez/ Real Deal beat Void Effect, Hank Calhoun/Confederate Kid to win the vacant titles

Moving on to our next match of the night, it was for the EWF Heavyweight title. The challenger and crowd favorite, Jack Hammer who defeated Hank Calhoun last week came out to one of the best ovations of the night. Champion Ryan Paradise however, came out to nothing but a sea of boo's as usual. This one was for all the marbles, the EWF Heavyweight Title.

Jack Hammer took the lead early on with his usual power moves and brawling style, but the speed of Ryan Paradise was just too much as we saw Ryan take control midway through the match and landing a perfect 5-Star Frog Splash. Shortly after Paradise went for the pin, Jeff Landis made the count, 1-2-3!?!? Wait a minute, and out comes referee Jason Riggs who told Landis that Jack Hammer had his arm on the ropes, and the pinfall by Paradise was no good. After a minute of arguing, senior referee Landis overruled his previous decision and restarted the match, this allowed Jack Hammer to hit Paradise from behind and get a quick 1-2-3 pinfall.

Jack Hammer, the NEW EWF Heavyweight champion. The crowd was crazy for this one, since Hammer is a big crowd favorite and Paradise is so badly hated by everyone. The king has fallen, and a new king reins supreme, Jack Hammer. I'm sure Ryan Paradise will be gunning after him though, wanting to get his title back. Who else will step up to the plate as well?

* EWF Title:  Jack Hammer beat Ryan Paradise (c) to win the title

Ok ladies and gentlemen, time for the Main Event. NWA TNA Superstar, A.J. Styles came out to the loudest cheers of the night. I swear, it took him a good 5 minutes just to get into the ring! The crowd loves this guy. Then out comes the “flying phenom”, Pheonix! Pheonix was met with a mixed reaction from the crowd. Cheers from people who admire his style and spirit, and boo's from the typical fans that just hate the guy. I give credit where credit is due, and cheered him on as well.

The match was by far the best of the night as both men were taking things to the limits. Superb mat wrestling mixed with awesome aerial wrestling moves from both guys. Pheonix hit his patented Trifecta triple moonsault, an awesome springboard tornado DDT, & his running shooting star while A.J. hit a combination backbreaker/gutbuster a couple nice tilt-a-whirl moves and his patented Styles Clash. This match was non-stop from the beginning to end. Pheonix looked to be getting worn down though and chose to take the easy way out reaching into his boot pulling out a pair of Brass Knucks! What a cheap skate! Pheonix nailed A.J. with the knuck's and got the 1..2...3..., then ran out of the ring like a little girl! A superb match to that point which could have went either way and Pheonix cheats to win.

Everyone gave a huge ovation to A.J. Styles though after the match. A.J. showed why his is regarded as one of the best certainly pushing Pheonix to the limit tonight. My hats off to both superstars for the awesome match. After the match A.J. announced that Pheonix would be seeing him again in the ring very soon??????

* Pheonix beat A.J. Styles after hitting him with brass knuckles
