Hello wrestling fans and welcome back to another edition of The Insider Report. This week I'll recap the April 26th show from the EWF Arena and give you all something to think about. So without further wait, on with the results!

The Insider was eager to see the show this week as former ECW, WCW and WWE talent, Raven would be in house to challenge EWF Heavyweight Champion, Anarchy. Clearly I wasn't the only one who was eager to see the show, as the arena had maybe 1 empty seat. It's great to see all the new faces as well, and a special hello to the mother/daughter who made their way all the way from Chicago to see the EWF.

I grabbed my seat as soon as the arena doors opened and proceeded to stock up on some essentials. That would include large popcorn, Mt. Dew and 2 Snickers bars. Anyhow, on with the show!

EWF Tag Team Champions, Real Deal Christopher Steele and Big Cheez came out first to make a short announcement. They told EWF Owner, Hurricane, that they were sick and tired of having to face and defeat pathetic tag teams every week. Real Deal then stated that he and Cheez would be sitting out this week and watching the show from a fans viewpoint until Hurricane can find them some decent opponents. Stiff words from the Tag Team Champs, and I'm sure something will go down in the near future by making comments like that.

Our first match of the night would be a rematch from last week’s show, as Kid Liberty would be taking on Hypnosis in a luchadore style match. "The Hispanic causing Panic" Hypnosis, who now resides in Mexico, Indiana came out to a nice ovation from the crowd. Kid Liberty, came out to a mixed reaction to the crowd, but quickly showed his true colors and was booed by everyone in the house. The match started nice and fast as both men looked to gain control. Kid gained control early on in the match but wouldn't have control for too long as the "Mexican Jumping bean" battled back and nailed some awesome aerial moves, including a top rope springboard hurricanranna. Hypnosis reminds me a lot of Mysterio Jr with moves like this and puts on a very similar style match. Very exciting to watch. This match lasted about 6 minutes and was fast paced and action packed the entire time. Both Kid and Hypnosis took to the air many, many times and wowed the crowd with their arsenal of attacks. Hypnosis would get the pinfall in this match after a missed superkick by Kid Liberty allowed Hypnosis to counter and score the win. After the match the tag champs dove in the ring and brutally attacked both Hypnosis and Liberty Kid ...to prove what point I don’t know.

* Hypnosis beat Kid Liberty

Our next match of the evening would be pretty interesting as well, as Peter B. Beautiful, who reminds me of a cross between the Pink Panther, Liberace and Richard Simmons, would take on AC Styles. Styles is a newcomer to the EWF, but showed he has the talent to play with the big boys in this match. The crowd was totally against Peter in this match as his "fruity" antics were just too much for most people. Peter can wrestle well though, as can AC Styles. Peter had the advantage early on and tried to keep AC on the mat. AC is more of a highflying wrestler though, and showcased a good display of moves during the match as well. Peter was thrown outside the ring and AC made an awesome running and flipping neckbreaker onto Peter, which sent both men crashing into the concrete floor outside the ring. That really got the crowd chanting and wanting more. As the referee neared the 10 count, AC was able to roll Peter back into the ring and nail a superb running senton splash onto Peter and grab the 1-2-3 pinfall.

A great match indeed and I'll be looking forward to seeing both of these guys in the ring in the near future

* AC Styles beat Peter B. Beautiful

Moving on to our next match of the evening, we would see Tsunami take on, Shane Stevens. Both of these guys are about the same size and have a similar wrestling style so I thought they would mesh well together. Personally, I don’t like either guy so I booed both of them. haha. The match started a little slow, but Tsunami laid on the pain with a great attack by stomping the holy cow poop out of Stevens. That was about all she wrote for Stevens and a brutal kick to the head from Tsunami was the finishing blow. Tsunami made the pinfall and the match was over.

* Tsunami beat Shane Stevens

Moving on to our next match, the huge Nigerian Nightmare would be making a return to the EWF to take on Busta the Wicked Klown. Busta got a great ovation from the crowd this week and I'm always happy to see him in the ring. I'm down with the Klown! Nightmare is a huge, powerful man, so I thought this would be a total mismatch, but it really wasn't. Nightmare had control early on and it looked like this would be a short match indeed. Busta was getting tossed around like a rag doll until a failed spear by Nightmare sent him into the corner post. This allowed Busta to break out some circus skills and take to the air.

Busta continued the assault by going to the top rope several times to launch an aerial attack and finally decided it was time to climb into the rafters for a huge high-risk move. I thought it was all over right here fans, Busta went for a senton from the rafters but Nightmare was able to roll away. Busta nailed the mat, back first and laid there like road kill. Nightmare seized the opportunity and picked the Wicked Klown up, and delivered the most brutal sit down powerslam I have ever seen. The ref made the count, 1-2-3 and the winner of the match, Nigerian Nightmare! Nightmare strikes fear right to the heart of everyone he steps into the ring with, and this week he devastated yet another victim.

It was now time for intermission, which allowed me to get my Raven autographed picture and restock up on items from the snack bar. I'm totally in love with the new almond snickers bars. I made my back to my seat and was just in time to get ready for the next match. It would be a pretty good one too as Hellraiser would face Dinn T Moore.

Dinn T had the size advantage here, but Hellraiser had the entire crowd behind him as always. Dinn T looked to wear down the masked man early by working on the right leg of Hellraiser, but quickly resorted to old-fashioned brawling as Hellraiser tried to fight back. Dinn T took a page out of the cheaters bible and gave Hellraiser a low blow, allowing him to gain the upper hand. Dinn T proceeded to work over Hellraiser’s leg and looked to have the match in hand. Dinn T was able to lock in a sleeper hold, but with the fans help, Hellraiser fought back.

Hellraiser got to his feet and got Dinn T to break the hold. Dinn T was whipped to the ropes and speared by Hellraiser and that had the fans on their feet cheering. Hellraiser went for the pin, but only got a 2 count. Dinn T still had the fight in him, but Hellraiser was about to beat it out of him. Hellraiser gave a bunch of stomps to Dinn T classic of Stone cold himself and pulled the big man to his feet. Hellraiser whipped him to the corner and nailed the spear, horns first of course. Dinn T stumbled out of the corner; Hellraiser turned him around, and nailed the finisher. Nail in the coffin and Hellraiser got the 1-2-3 pinfall. Dinn T laid on the mat beaten and bruised, while Hellraiser continues on his path of winning.

* Hellraiser beat Dinn T. Moore

It was then time for our finals of the BMF Title tournament. King would face the Ragin Redneck Hank Calhoun. This was predicted to be another epic battle between these two and I was jet-set and ready to go. King came out to the ring at first and looked to be in great shape for the match tonight. Hank's music hit and played for a few, but no sign of Hank. The music started over again, but still no sign of Hank Calhoun. Now here's where things got interesting. We see a car pull up to the side door and King goes out to see who it is. Come to find out, a couple of goons in a old Mafia looking car with a badly beaten and bloody Hank Calhoun in the trunk! King pulled Hank out of the trunk and the car drove off. Hank was completely covered in blood and had several black and blue bruises. Shockingly, King orders the ref to call for the bell and start the match. Ding ding and the match has started with Hank lying a in a pool of his own blood. King clobbered the redneck and made him bleed even more. I think Hank was unconscious at this point, and King made the easy pin. King ordered the ref to make the count, 1-2-3 and King the winner and the new BMF champion. Now that is down right disgusting. King, one of my favorite wrestlers, turns his back on everyone and cheats to win the BMF Title. I had a feeling something was up here, so I did some investigating and dug up some things you can read about in the Rumor Mill column. Be sure to check it out!

* BMF Title Tournament Final:  King beat Hank Calhoun

After this total shock fest, the fans booed King all the way to the locker room. That dirty punk deserved it. Meanwhile, officials ran out to help Hank get to the back as well. Hank looked to be in bad shape and I'll have more details in the Rumor Mill column for this week.

Our next match of the evening started shortly after and would pit the big man from Hells Kitchen, New York, Big Nasty against Jack Hammer. Nasty has a mean streak in him a mile long and has been tearing up the ring in recent weeks. Hammer has been on a winning streak as well and been looking to climb the ladder once again in the EWF. This match had the entire making to be a good one, and it started with an all out brawl. Both men swinging like a bar fight; Big Nasty was on the short end of the stick early on. Hammer looked to take the legs out from under Nasty and worked the left knee pretty heavily. Hammer was unsuccessful with 2 near pinfalls and finally went to the top rope looking to nail a picture perfect elbow drop. Hammer connected too, he connected to the mat that is. Nasty was able to roll away and get back to his feet. Nasty then displayed the monstrous power by powerslamming Hammer back down to the mat and connecting with a big leg drop. Nasty made the cover, but only got a 2 count. Jack Hammer wasn't done yet. Nasty pulled Hammer to his feet and whipped him to the ropes but missed the big boot, Hammer ducked the boot and nailed the Hammerjack and went for the pin. 1-2-3 and Jack Hammer was our winner! Hammer quickly rolled out of the ring and celebrated with the fans.

* Jack Hammer beat Big Nasty

Our next match of the night would be a great highflying match indeed. The Flying Phenom, Pheonix would face another high-flyer, Halo. Both these guys have the talent to really go somewhere and have a great match and tonight they did just that. Marion's pride and joy, Pheonix is becoming a fan favorite as the weeks go by and Halo would have his work cut out for him. The match started quickly as both men looked to gain the lead early on. Halo had the edged and nailed some awesome aerial moves that would make luchadores jealous. At one point, Pheonix was stuck between the ropes and this allowed Halo the opportunity to unleash a fury of attack. Everyone was chanting "Holy SH#$%" after that one. Truly something you have to see with your own eyes.

But the years of ring experience shined through for Pheonix as he was able to get the edge off of a missed moonsault by Halo. Pheonix showed the kid how it's done and nailed the Trifecta Moonsaults. Pretty sweet if you ask me. Pheonix went for the pin, but only got a 2 count. Short changed my friend! Pheonix yelled at the ref and so did quite a few fans. I don’t think Jeff Landis can count to 3. Say it with me now, 1.... 2...3. It's that simple! Pheonix locked in the devastating move, which has no name that I know of. Truly painful looking though. You'll have to check it out yourself. At this point Halo looked to be out of it and the ref checked to see if his hand would drop. 1 time the hand goes down. 2nd time the hand goes down. 3rd time it stays up, but barely. Pheonix was pretty angered by this and laid Halo out with a spin kick after sending him to the ropes. This allowed Pheonix just enough time to nail one more textbook moonsault and make the cover. Referee Landis made the count, 1-2-3 and Pheonix would be declared the winner. A great match indeed and I'm sure Halo will want a rematch in the near future with The Flying Phenom.

* Pheonix beat Halo

From the Wretched Hollows, he is the Silence behind the Violence; he's the current EWF Heavyweight Champion, Anarchy! Ok, the announcer did a better job than me, but anyhow. Anarchy stood in the corner of the ring with the gold in hand and then, the music hit. The fans went crazy as Raven emerged from the entrance area. Raven looked as confident as ever and sat in the corner of the ring as he always does. Referee CJ Washington presented the Heavyweight title and then Raven and Anarchy has the bitterest stare down I've seen in a long time. Both men across the ring from each other, and you just knew it was about to get ugly.

The match started out a little slow as both men tried to gain control with basic grappling moves. Raven was able to take control however, and started working heavily on Anarchy. Raven has years of experience and looked to put a hurting on the champ early on. The battle went to the outside of the ring, where Anarchy looked and found a steel chair from under the ring. This is the 5-year-old "trademark" EWF chair that somehow has withstood a huge amount of abuse. Clad with stickers and such, Anarchy tossed it into the ring. Raven met Anarchy on the floor and was introduced to the thick steel upright near the ring. Now that’s cleaning out the cobwebs!

Both men back into the ring and Anarchy goes after Raven with a chair but connect with the turnbuckle. Raven manages to stumble across the ring and Anarchy goes after him again with the chair. Anarchy swings the chair but hits the top rope and ends up clocking himself with the chair. Nice move champ! Anarchy lays on the mat as Raven goes for the pin...1.... 2...shoulder up!! Anarchy is still alive! No problem for Raven, as he pulls Anarchy to his feet and continues the attack. Anarchy was able to connect with aaaaaaaaaaaaa solid DDT on Raven, but that’s a no-no. Not gonna happen! Raven was up quicker than a growing weed in my yard and showed the champ to the mat with the Evenflow DDT. Everyone cheered as it has been sometime since we have seen the classic Raven finisher be used. Raven makes the cover, 1.... 2...3!

Raven is the new EWF Heavyweight Champion! This is insane! Raven grabs the title belt and puts it on while fans go crazy and take pictures. The house was ecstatic at this point. Anarchy lays in the corner wondering what happened and trying to collect his thoughts as Raven shows his newly won gold. Not so fast though. EWF Owner, Hurricane had something to say about this. Hurricane made his way to the ring and proceeds to scream at Raven and Anarchy that this was not the way this battle would end. He got in Ravens face and announced that he was no longer the champion, Raven said "fine then I will give the title back to Anarchy" which he did just before heading back to the locker room. Hurricane then got in Anarchy's face saying "Anarchy you just got punked out by Raven". Hurricane was EXTREMELY angered at this point. I thought we were about to have World War 3!

Hurricane proclaimed that since Anarchy cant get the job done around here, and said since he owns the EWF that he is stripping the title from Anarchy and that he is making himself the new Heavyweight Champion.

After all this, pretty much everyone in attendance was booing Hurricane. The once huge fan favorite has now turned his back on everyone Anarchy jerked the title belt from Hurricanes grasp, only to smash him in the face with the title telling Hurricane he can have the belt and that he better be ready to defend it next Saturday.

Hurricane staked claim that he calls the shots around here and this is his yard. He said he will definitely have a match with Anarchy next week for the EWF Heavyweight Title and that he has a big surprise for Anarchy as well.

* EWF Title:  Raven beat Anarchy (c) - Hurricane stripped Raven of the title

It was a crazy, action packed show wrestling fans. It just goes to show; you never know what will happen in the EWF. After tonight I 100% agree with the comment. That’s all for this week though, be sure to check my Rumor Mill column for the all the dirt and I'll see you all next week!
